FAQs

How do I book a tattoo?

To enquire about a tattoo, or to book, feel free to email. I will get back to you ASAP. Please include any design ideas, along with where you would like to get the tattoo, size and any photos to be used as inspiration.

Do I need to pay a deposit?
A deposit is required for all bookings. This can be anywhere from $100-$400 depending on the session duration. This deposit comes off the price of the tattoo on the day. 48 hours notice is required on cancellations for your deposit to be returned.

What should I do to prepare for the session?
Before you come into the studio make sure you have had a good meal and are well hydrated. It’s a good idea to bring a sugary snack along for during your session.

Leading up to the day avoid any long exposure to the sun and general skin care is recommended (moisturising).

Can I use numbing cream?

The use of numbing cream is not recommended. It can, albeit rarely, affect the healing process. I use the highest quality machines and needles, and my individual technique makes the pain as minimal as possible.

I just got my new tattoo, now what do I do?

You’re all tatted up, well done!!! If your tattoo has been wrapped, remove this ASAP (once you get back home or to your hotel).

Do not re-wrap your tattoo. Wash your tattoo straight away with warm water and soap, do not scrub, you’re only washing the residue off the surface.

Pat the tattoo dry and let it air-dry for 10 minutes. Now apply a small amount of Bepanthen cream (a very thin even film). Repeat this process twice a day for 10-14 days.

Loose clothing is best to wear on the freshly tattooed area. Do not scratch your healing tattoo, or expose it to too much sun.

Swimming is not recommended for approx 2 weeks - you want the shower to be the only water on your new tattoo until it is healed. Remember that a fresh tattoo is an open wound, so avoid exposure to dirt and bacteria.
